The second annual "Sweet Fashions by Hershey" fashion show took place yesterday at Hershey's Chocolate
World, and thanks to Michele, we got our tickets to the sold-out show just in time!
This yearly event is sponsored by The Hershey Company and benefits the Children's Miracle Network at the Penn State Milton S. Hershey Children's Hospital. And it's much more than just a fashion show: for your $30 donation to CMN (thanks to The Hershey Company, every dollar of the ticket price goes to CMN), you get admission to a family-friendly reception, a show featuring new Hershey's fashions (emceed by Dylan Lauren, daughter of Ralph and owner of Dylan's Candy Bar), access to chocolate tasting stations, a chocolate dinner buffet and dessert table, a chance to win one of many gift baskets, and some off-the-hook goodie bags. And if that weren't enough, every one of the ten Project Runway "Eye Candy" designs were on display at the event.
We had a great time, and I'm looking forward to next year's show...and hoping to bring more friends with me!
